Village Health Clubs & Spas are locally owned and operated by DMB Sports Clubs and operate as high-end, family-oriented health clubs and spas in the Phoenix metropolitan areas. Beginning as Metro Sport and Health Club in 1976, The Village Health Clubs & Spas has grown to four clubs around the Phoenix area; Camelback Village, Arcadia; DC Ranch Village, North Scottsdale; Gainey Village, Scottsdale; & Verrado Village, Buckeye, and provide upscale fitness alternatives for a growing consumer demand.

Facts

The four Village Health Clubs range in size from 12,000 square feet to 90,000 square feet. Each Club features gorgeous and luxurious facilities to make that strenuous (or not so strenuous workout) first class with steam rooms, sauna, spas, pools, healthy food, and even a lovely glass of wine, which makes the Village experience an indulgent one. If one wants to be pampered and relax, the option of walking over to the Spa instead of the treadmill is always there.

Special features for the different clubs are:

  • Gainey Village Health Club & Spa: full service 25 room day spa, 110 weekly exercise classes, separate training center, facial rejuvenation – ‘The Acupuncture Facelift’
  • Camelback Village Racquet & Health Club: 15 tennis courts looking at the majestic Camelback Mountains, numerous events to raise money for local charities, $6.2 million dollar expansion currently underway
  • DC Ranch Village Health Club & Spa: full service spa and salon, resort-like pool area including a lap pool, recreational pool and spray garden, soothing mind and body studio, mountain bikes available for member use, Easy access to trail system of McDowell Mountain Preserve
  • Verrado Village Sport & Health Club: pamper ladies day, empowerment classes, two resort style swimming pools and spray garden, state-of-the-art fitness center and cardio equipment, hiking in the White Tank Mountains
